The weekend batch which I have joined is very good. The faculty is very comprehensive and detailed in
teaching. First a concept is taught and then a handout is given to do questions. Important questions are
discussed and effective methods are taught by the teacher. They try their level best to clarify your
concept and after that workshops are also held for practice and discussion of real CAT questions. The
only catch is, I don’t know whether they provide the same set of faculty to every batch. As I already
had gotten an IIM call last year and my profile was a decent one, I was suggested to take this weekend
batch. I have heard from some of the regular students that some of their teachers aren’t that good.
Also, they have a whole separate batch and materials for SRCC passouts and IITians. So I guess, there is
a partiality here. Although if your profile is good, don’t shed a second thought. The materials are best
in the market, it’s a widely known fact, and also the student homepage of their website has enormous
content, mocks, sectional tests, reading materials and what not. Overall you’ll be provided enough
quality content to prepare you for the d day. You can also get just the materials and Homepage (SHP)
access by paying the amount (look it up). They hold regular doubt solving sessions and you can anytime
book a slot for guidance, doubt solving or backup classes. Regular online chat are also held, where you
can discuss your mock performance and seek guidance. |

Faculties: VARC - average, DILR - very good, Quant - Not good. Study material & mocks: VARC - decent but
need to be better, DILR - very good, Quant - very good. Doubt solving & support: Can't complain.
Anything else: Support staff is great, they know me by name and it doesn't feel I'm a part of thousands
of students who are admitted in this institute. |

I have joined TIME, Kalu Sarai. Quants faculty i.e., Prashant sir is amazing. Once you may feel that you
are not able to get in pace with him but concept clarity is really good. DILR got changed, but the one
we had was par excellence, Rahul sir! VARC is okayish. Study material and mocks are good, AIMCAT is a
bit higher level than actual CAT. One needs to book a slot for doubt session and it takes around 2-3
days for the same but all over support is provided. |

The best faculty is the Quants faculty. Shashank sir really is great. Each topic is covered in the
class. The study material provided has a variety of questions. Ample study material is provided to us.
Overall, I would recommend TIME for CAT preparation. It provides quality material and faculty. Doubt
session is also smooth. |

Definite recommend for the study material and mocks. Doubt solving and support was very good for QUANT
section but average and below average for DILR and VARC respectively. I really took this coaching as I
wanted to get disciplined and be consistent which I knew I wouldn’t be myself studying online. |

Great. Mocks were too hard... really demotivating. Good doubt solving. Don't rely on TIME mocks alone.

TIME's study material is good, no need to worry about it. When it comes to faculty, there are some
teachers who explain in detail but some don't. They will tell you to stop them if you have any doubt and
ask them. Not all teachers are like this but there are definitely good teachers. As I am from a
non-engineering background, I had some basic doubts during classes, especially in QA, some teachers
encouraged asking those doubts in between classes but some were not doing that. I am also not satisfied
with their doubt solving, you apply for doubts and then sometimes after a week you will get that doubt
session. So if you are from a non-engineering background and struggle with Quants, then before joining
coaching, go through the basics of every topic so that you are able to understand it better in class as
their level is a little higher. |

Quants and DILR Faculty is the best. In VARC, our CR teacher is brilliant, grammar teacher couldn’t
teach anything at all. Workshops: are the best, 2hrs you will spend. 1) It provides you access to
different teachers, so you can choose the teacher and teaching style that works for you, and while
taking doubt classes, you can get doubt classes with that specific teacher. 2) Brilliant Questions and
Tricks taught. Activates that top 1% of your mind. Book Remedial Classes n number of times according to
your time slot. Everybody knows the level of material they provide. No one can beat the Sectionals Mock
and magazine they provide. TIME portal even tells you how to go about your prep. Start with basics, give
foundation mocks, then medium, then advance, then Self-Analysed mock, then real mocks, then analysis,
then again mock without timer. TEAM also gives prompt replies. |

You can just prepare by self-study…There’s a lot of lectures, means a lot of lectures available on
YouTube….but still, if you want to join, you can go for TIME…. But choose the branch wisely…. Doubt
solving slots are poor…. Study material and mocks are like very amazing…. Everything about the TIME is
perfect…. I got the best teachers for LRDI AND QUANTS… VARC in TIME is not so good, but overall
experience is Amazing…. |

Very commercialized and professional. The teachers are really good. I was from the elite batch. The
teaching pace was really high. Not many of my friends were able to keep up. For English, better
institutes might be available. Study material is okayish. Doubt solving process is very cumbersome. A
lot of peer pressure hits when you sit amongst the best students across the country, and this can be
positive or negative depending upon your personality type. |

The TIME CP faculties are good no doubt but there are some faculties which are just not up to the mark
to teach you. Like as per my experience, quant faculty is way too good but the LRDI faculty is not, only
1 teacher for LRDI was good and his class used to be filled with the students from other batches. No
doubt the TIME material and AIMCATs are enough for your prep, but travelling for an hour and feeling
this is kinda sad. I would say online coaching will be a very good option, it would feel like you are
not feeling it in the start but when you give the first mock and reality hits you. You’ll know what to
do. Currently joined the Rodha online batch and it’s going good as far. So the moral of the story, don’t
join any offline institute because of its reputation, try to talk to the previous students and take
opinions. If you live nearby any coaching and feel like joining it, then yes, go for it. But don’t waste
your time travelling. Take the online options. |

January to November for CAT preparation (+some OMET specific guidance also) |
VARC: They have a structured plan for covering the syllabus and concept classes (like nouns, verbs,
phrasal verbs, etc.) which help us in solving the RCs and VA questions. But when we used to solve
questions, the process felt a bit rigid (in the sense that it felt that the teachers try to only explain
their rationale of solving but do not put in the effort to understand the level of understanding of the
student and help the student understand where they are going wrong. It's like they tell you the correct
path but do not actually explain to you why your path was not the best). DILR: It is mostly
concept-based. In the classes, they try to solve with the method which will be clear for all levels of
students. They don't attempt the questions in the way which a student with deep understanding of tricks
would solve the question in minimum time. They say that such tricks can be discussed in 1-to-1 doubt
sessions and in explanation of advanced sectionals and mocks. QA: Given how broad the syllabus is, only
the basics are covered in the class (but questions are never asked in mocks). Their objective is to
familiarise the students with a variety of question types without delving deep into any of them
specifically. For QA also, they tell that advance-level discussions can be held in 1-to-1 doubt
sessions. The study material is good and contains a large variety of questions. The mocks are actually
super tough, but I have heard from seniors that some of the questions in the QA section are not of CAT
type and are put in there only to make the section such that students don't get relaxed towards the
section. The DILR & VARC sections are also above the CAT level, but they are actually great to learn new
things and for practice as well. Never used their doubt-solving sessions. |

Quant and DILR teaching was up to the mark, however, VARC teaching did not feel useful as I often found
myself just solving questions which we can anyways do ourselves. Overall, the teachers were nice. Study
material and mocks all were quite helpful and of good quality. For doubt solving, you had unlimited
doubt sessions which you can book as per availability and convenience. |

My coaching center had brilliant faculties for all the sections, no doubt. AIMCAT is the best mock
series for the CAT exam. And I think study material contains each and every type of question that can be
asked in actual CAT & OMET exam. I had never taken any doubt session yet, but we do have an option for
that. |

DILR, QA, and VARC faculty was good. Study material was very vast, and you don't need to refer to any
other material except TIME. TIME AIMCATs are also very good, a bit on the harder side, but UI is very
bad. We can book 1-on-1 doubt clearing sessions, which most people don't do, so you can make full use of
it. Online doubt solving was not there. |

Their most of the faculties are very good, but at my coaching centre, math faculty was not good, and
their study material is very good, but in the mock test, there are many questions belonging to number
series which have not much weightage in CAT EXAM. Their doubt-solving facility was also not so good, but
yes, they are very supportive. |

I feel we were not given an overall picture of the exams and what is the difference between the exams, i feel class as they named at they as omet classes at the end, from the start it should have been made clear what all topics come in which exam. Time gtb nagar made it all cluttered, they told us to do everything, and aimcats is the worst mock series, they make it as a intention to fail all the students, there was no faculty guidance, the course was stretched till october which caused issues in giving mocks. Students portals are waste, sectionals are not made according to recent trends and new timings. Qualities of sectionals is very poor, there is no performance analysis software on their student portal which gives and idea which topics are strong, this thing most of the institutions have now. Time is only charging money for their goodwill now and nothing else, it the worst institute ever. The oy thing i liked was my quants faculty his teaching method was very nice. Va faculty was so so bad. |
