Candidate must have secured the above-mentioned percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together with 50% marks in Mathematics separately.
In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered.
In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered.
In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science & Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.
Candidates belonging to SEBC/ PD category will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination.
However, candidates who have passed 10+2 with 45% marks (Relaxation of marks for SEBC and PD category is not applicable) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are also eligible under Management Quota.

Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
