The NIRF rankings were implemented by the Ministry of Education in 2015 and have since established themselves as a premier source for ranking and evaluating Indian higher education institutes.
In the Management ranking category, institutes are rated based on their:

• Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR)
• Research and Professional Practice (RP)
• Graduation Outcomes (GO)
• Outreach and Inclusivity (OI)
• Perception (P)
